If you are a prospective Kenyon student and are interested in playing competitive squash as a college sport, we hope you will consider becoming part of our effort to grow the sport and to achieve greater recognition as a serious intercollegiate team. At the College Squash Association 2009 National Tournament in Princeton, the Kenyon Squash Club won the the Serues Division and finished the year ranked #41. In 2010, Kenyon came home with the Chaffee Cup title and the #33 overall ranking. Our goal is to compete at an increasingly higher level.
Please inspect our website to learn more about our facilities and our Club. On the Contact Us page, you will find a questionnaire to complete and return to me. The purpose of this document is to acquaint us with your interest and ability levels and to engage you in “conversation” about your prospective part in our development.
I invite you to learn more about Kenyon at the www.kenyon.edu site. In 2007 Kenyon opened a new $75,000,000 Athletic Center (KAC) which, among many other great venues, includes a magnificent squash center with eight new state-of-the-art international squash courts.
Please feel comfortable contacting me by phone or email using the contact information provided below.
If you are a Kenyon alumnus just scouting us out, please let me know of your interest in squash. We are anxious to know of Kenyon grads who are playing squash now. The Club would like to host an alumni event in the future. We also hope to have a tournament for all levels. If you email me, I can add you to a list of persons interested in squash so you will receive news from time to time.
The Kenyon Squash Club is mostly a self-supporting club, requiring financial support from “friends.” If you are so inclined to help us financially, please make checks out to Kenyon College and designate The Kenyon Squash Program as the beneficiary. Gifts may be sent to Kenyon College or to me at PO Box 396, Gambier, OH 43022.
Please come back to visit us at this site for news and updates.
